Rest in the Clearing

As he walked through the forest, trying to find the dorm, he chanced upon a clearing. His stomach growled as he stopped for a few moments. Realizing he was quite hungry, he decided to stop and have a bit of lunch. Taking off his backpack again, he brought out some military rations. Not the best, but better then nothing. He opens them up and starts eating on them, while still holding the cigar in his mouth nonetheless. A talent he had perfected on long military missions.0

As Trenton walked through the forest, he stumbled upon a clearing. He was amazed at the sight. A Dragon sat there eating his lunch. Trenton thought he better not anger the Dragon so he stayed there silentley behind a large rock.

His ears wiggled as he heard the slight noise from behind the rock. "You don't have to hide, I don't bite," as he finishes his meal.0

"Oh." "Well Hi then" "Guess I never met a Dragon before" He stuttered.0

Hehe, not many people have. *sticks out his claw to shake hands* Name's T'Garwhyn. But most people call me "Smoke" heh.0

walking out of the shadows... "He looks to be part dreugh to me don't you think trenton, a beautiful specimen at that what a lovely creature." Xander Said. "Do you breathe the well know fire of a dragon???"

*looks to the newcomer* Actually I am a full dragon, just my species is anthropomorphic. As for fire-breathing, I can do that and more. 0

Rather an amazing creature then especially since your blood is pure and untanted by the dreugh. What is such a dazzling creature doing at a place such as Duel Academy, you don't apear to be much of a duelist to me??? No offence ment. You should be out doing something extravegant... As for this fire breathing would you mind doing a sort of demonstration then. Said Xander looking on sceptically.

"Heh, I actually am a duelist. As for why I'm here, although Crowler put me in Slifer Red, I'm going to be more of a security guard/bouncer here. That's what I did back at the Dragon's Lair."

The dragon said as he continued to sit back. He takes the cigar out of his mouth as he breathes out a large puff, aiming it away from the humans. "Hmmm, what do you mean by dreugh anyway? As for a demonstration, I can give you one," the dragon then quickly breathes in deeply, then shoots out a jet of fire straight into the air, taking care to avoid any foliage so as not to set anything on fire.0

"Wow what a beautiful display of your pur talent, simply a magnificent creature you are." said Xander looking up at the spot where the fire had just blazed in the air." By dreugh i mean the half human & half dragon hybrids that live to the north of england. A beautiful race of people who are truely fasinating, they are dragons but they are very human like. That is why i believed that you were dreugh because you were so human like."

"Ah, guess that makes sense then," T'Garwhyn said. "I doubt those people are my size then." He laughed a little afterwards, then started to search through his backpack and took out several small deck boxes, and then counted them and muttering a few things to himself, taking down which ones he had brought with him and which ones Rick had with him on the ship. "I would gladly duel one of you guys, but these aren't ready yet. Once my manager comes with the rest of my cards, I'll be able to duel."0

"Fine I'll be waiting for that duel, you can figure out were I will be. Later..." Xander said as he walked away back toward the school.

"See ya" he said as he waved to the duelist. He smiled a bit. Perhaps some people would accept him here. Not that it mattered, but it eased his mind a bit. He picked up the deck boxes and put all of them away save 1. He hadn't told the whole truth, this deck was ready. But he only used it when he knew he had to. The deck created especially for him by Pegasus himself, its contents were said to be so powerful, no mere human could ever use it correctly.

He had used this deck several times. Each time it seemed like the deck could read the other person's deck and counter every move. It could take control of the opponent's field without them even knowing it. The Elemental Guardians were a key feature, and he knew the one duelist he had to duel with them.

Jaden Yuki, whose Elemental Heroes were said to be descended from the Elemental Guardians. He packed up the deck and laid down, the long flight had taken alot out of him, especially the heavy winds around the island. He took a short nap as he laid in the clearing.

(Ok, the deck isn't complete yet, but I'm going to try and get these cards down in writing over the next week or two.)

T'Garwhyn grinned as he napped. He took the cigar and put out the smoldering end, no need to set the forest on fire. After about a half-hour, the headset attached to his ear buzzed, indicating Rick had arrived with the rest of his gear. Picking up his backpack, he started towards the docks.0
